Missouri Yellow Bird owner here
Hello all. I've been linked here by collectorfbody.com and LS1tech.com. It's good to be here and sharing in the f-body hobby. I'm also an active poster on impalassforum.com as I own a 1996 Impala SS, thus the screen name. Here's a couple of pics of my baby.

Welcome. Beautiful car. Hey is the 96 SS Impala the year that it had a floor shifter? God those cars could get up and go.

Yes sir, that's the year. I love scaring first time riders in it. My buddy got in the car and acted like he could handle anything, so I put it to about 150 and he changed his tune. I thought he was going to vomit when he got out after the ride. They fly.

"She's a bute Clark!!!" Man nice rides. 1. I can't believe how lucky you were to find of all things a 96 (and you're right the only year worth owning) SS collecting dust on a lot. The high miles probably scared off the weak of heart but I'm sure there's lots of get up and go left in that baby. 2. The CETA...nuff said.

It really is strange how I came into finding it. It was in Harrison (about 15 miles away) sitting there for months, but I never saw it because I worked in Branson (opposite direction 20 miles). I drove through town in a '91 Saturn LS 4dr (my brother's) and pulled a U-ey in the middle of the road. I literally fell out of the Saturn in excitement and bought it two days later. I think that I'm quite blessed to have two very nice rides. I'm just a normal dude with big dreams and a couple of them have come true.
