    Talking Midwest newcomer

Interesting site, being a long time chevy lover - the LS series was a natural for me. Raced big block chevy's in the 60's, small blocks in the early 70's - had kids, family and college now it's my time again. In the middle of a project car now, started 18 months ago. LS4 '07 SS Monte - implanting a destroked LS7 (401 cid - 4.125 x 3.75) and Garrett turbo and upgrades where ever possible - engine, tranny, suspension, fuel, exhaust, cooling, electrical, induction so much it boggles the mind and wallet. Hoping I can peruse this site and learn something I can use to help me with my project. Looking forward to some exchanges.

Thanks for the welcome guys, not quiet sure what a sick ride is though. I would love to post pictures but I have no idea how too. I am in contact with Hot Rod magazine and are in negotiation for an article on my project following their instructions on the pictures they need and the final interview with a staff writer when the project is complete. When the article is published there will be pictures from start to finish at that time.
Currently any pictures being taken are being supplied to the Magazine by someone I have commission to do the pictorial work.

Appreciate the warm welcome guys - and the kidding too. To answer the LS7 block question - I resolved all my block issues by having Dart engineer and manufacture a billet block for me. The standard LS7 block did not have the correct bell housing bolt pattern for the transverse transmmission used in the front wheel drive cars and GM does not make a block other than the LS4 to do so, so I was forced to have a block made exactly how I wanted it.
Thank you for the link to post pictures, but the individual I commissioned to do photos charges me every time I ask him for something - pictures will have to wait until he gives me the CD I requested or when the magazine is published (I do have photos that have been supplied to me in an album now but they are all paper - and I don't know how to scan or operate a digital camera - a bit handicapped when it comes to computers - I am older than most of my piers with this hobby of mine).
Konigandy6 - Dart did all my machine work up there in Romeo at US pattern. Do you know the place? All ideas and input is appreciated.
