Hey Eveeryone,
My name is Shawn Lacey, 25 years old, Grew up on Long Island, NY.

Currently live in California

and enlisted in the United States Air Force

I am an In-Flight Air Refueling Boom Operator on a KC-10 (for those of you who aren't familiar with what that is check it out on youtube)

I own a white 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500, 5.3 V8 w/ an AIRaid Throttle body spacer, K&N Cold Air Intake/ Dual 15" electric fans, Hypertech programmer, MSD plugs, Exhaust, Diamond Plated Custom Reunel front and back bumpers, 12K Warn Winch, Hella Black Cat Offroad lights, PIAA Driving lights, a mild 4" Rancho Suspension Lift on 30" BFG A/T KO's, and has a Spray in Bedliner.

I got it last year when I got back from Afghanistan

, I had a few bucks to spend and wanted a truck for the longest time

. I'd like to do a few more things to her but time, money and knowledge come into play. I've contemplated going to UTI possibly becoming certified utilizing that wonderful M.G.I. Bill after I get out of the military. The Government will pay for one trade school on top of your standard tuition, I figure learning about and studying automotive technology would save me big time in the long run. I am really looking forward to it.

I first found this site when I was surfing the web looking for a forum to ask questions about some mechanical issues I was experiencing, once I posted the issues I was received with a handful of useful and helpful info, other users were able to point me in the right direction as well as suggest what the problem was causing the error codes. Now I often visit the site to see what people are doing to their vehicles and at least put my head in the automotive world to see whats good, bad, new or ugly. The Calendar Girls aren't a chore to look at either lol
