    1984 Monte Carlo SS

    I want to put a LS1 5.7 truck engine in an 84' Mon

    Can anybody give me some detailed information or a link to some information that I would need to get this project going? I would like cost info, part info, installation info and any other helpful things to get me going. It is an 05' truck engine. Thanks a lot.

    LS1 never came in a truck as far as i know, havent used the LS1 since 04 i think.
    its i'm guess a 5.3 if it came out of a truck or a 4.8

    No idea how it would fit in the Monte...
    Depending on the motor you choose and how built you want it, it could start adding up quickly.

    true or even the 8.1 if where talking the 3/4 tons and 1 tons then.
