Hi y'all
New here, but on my second WS6! (Third TA)
I'm in Naples, NY! Just purchased a 2000 convertible WS6! Going to pick it up tomorrow! It's my second one! I had an '01 about 10 years ago! Hoping I've grown up a bit! (49 in a month)!
As a kid (19-22), I had a '70 1/2 455 Rock-Crusher car! Lots o HP! (640 at the tires) raced it on the track in the middle 80's! My vision and reaction time is much slower now!😳
The "new" one will be a summer only DD and tire-burner!
Car has frame ties, strut tower brace, tubular lower arms, diff girdle, tranny hump brace, SLP Y-pipe and Loud Mouth, fan switch(SLP) and 180* stat! RamAir is open and sealed from radiator, skip-shift eliminator! It's a 6-speed car with 55,000 miles! Excellent condition and very well maintained by previous owner!
My wife is NOT happy with me😳! (She'll get over it...hopefully sooner than later!)
Looking forward to learning...😊

I knew I had heard of Naples. You're not too far up the road from us.

Absolutely. I highly recommend the annual Chilson-Wilcox cruise in that happens around August for a meet up. That's a dealership in Gang Mills, which is pretty much adjacent to Corning. We have a whole crew, including a couple of site members, that attend each year. If you ever get down this way, let me know. We do have a local cruise in Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 at a local bank parking lot in Mansfield. Anything up your way?

And, if you're looking for something to do at the end of this month, we'll all be down at GM Carlisle. There will be an LS1.com tent for the members to come hang out at.

Thanks for the warm welcome all!
The tires are shot, so I did my first smokey burnout today...4 times!😊
Looking at a wheel and tire combo to fill the wheel wells a bit more! Any reasonable recommendations? I'll head to the wheel/tire section!😜
