Picked up my first LS1 last Friday and looking forward to having some fun with it. It is a 2000 SS with a few goodies in it. Lots of good information in here.

It has a small cam in it with some 862 heads with 2.05 valves, kooks long tube headers, and h-beam rods with forged pistons for the dual stage nitrous system. Has a Century Automotive Stage 4 4L60E with 3600 convertor and 3.73 gears in the rear. The paint and interior are immaculate! Looking to drive it and show it some and take it to the track to see how it runs.

I live in Sulphur.
No it does not have a 427 in it. Just a LS1 with some goodies. Lawless Customs out of Slidell La. painted the car and copied the ZL1 paint scheme. Who knows one day it might have one, just have to wait and see.
