Helping out a friend!

Hello everyone. I'm on here to help out a friend with his 4th gen F-Body. He's not very mechanically inclined at all and I have no particular knowledge of F-bodies in particular.

why don't you have your friend come on too? Do you have any info about the car? Like milliage, mods, transmission? These things will really make it easier to give advice. once again Welcome.

He's not too savy on computers. Especially using the resources of an internet forum, which I've done for years.

Its a 94 Camaro RS with the 3.4L. Something upwards 120,000 miles, manual transmission.

What we're tackling now is the cooling system, which has been neglected for years. I'm trying to find the expansion plug size for the side of the engine block inbetween the cylinders) since its leaking. After that, its a list of things going wrong with the car.

are u talking about the freeze plug? and we will try to give you the best help we can on here but this is mostly an LS1 fourm, lol the name gies it away. and there are a few v6 guys on here but most have the 3.8. and for the size of the plug I would call a dealer and ask what size they are. They can also probably get you them too though they will be more expensive at the dealer.
