Hello from texas need help also

hello all i am a new member here looking for some help. Rencently i have problems with my camaro 94 LT1. Yea i know but i am sawpping it it for an LS1 but i am lloking to buy and engine. Does any one know where i can find one cheap. I dont care if it is used. I need the whole engine, trans a, harness . Please please can someone help. I need to get my baby back on the road.she can not be sitting in my garge any longer

Welcome to LS1.com. Entire engine,trans and harness will not be cheap. You might want to post this in the general section. You should get some replies in there. I would look at local junk yards, ebay for something local, craigslist local. Do you have a local f-body club or any kind of local car club? Do you have a local dragstrip you could ask around in the pits. You can check the parts section for sale here and many f-body sites. The LS1 in the f-body is 13 years old. GM has moved on to the LS2,LS3, LS4,LS7. It will take searching to find a used LS1 block,trans and harness. They are out there but not like they use to be. I did a search for LS1 motors for sale in Texas. I mostly saw sales from 2010 on back. I did see one 2011 sale but it was already sold.
