Black- 1998 Camaro Z28
Hello from Pennsylvania - LS1 & LS6 & LT1
Hi everyone - I have two F Bodies, a 94 Trans Am w/15,000 miles (LT1) and a 98 Z28 with an LS1 to be replaced by a new crate LS6 (complete engine) in a matter of days. LS6 will be hooked to a 4L65E tranny built by the gentleman in Oklahoma featured in Nov. 2007 Car Craft Magazine.
Pacesetter longtubes, new Richmond 3.73's for the rear instead of the 2.73's. Converter - 2075 stall (tame but very streetable).
Going to rebuild the LS1 (Stroker???) we take out of the Z28 (1998) and hook it to a new Richmond 5 speed Overdrive and put it in another 98-02 F Body.
Look forward to talking with you all.
When it's all said and done, I'll have 3 F Bodies!

I'm near Shamokin, Pa. - but not for too long as I'm moving upstate soon.
Where you planning to move to?

I just noticed you are from Millerton--I stayed at a great bed and breakfast, but I think it was in New York, Not Pa. and called Millerton--close to Lime Rock Park. I stayed there when I went to see the ALSM event last year.

By the way, extremely nice paint on your TA. Mine is a 94 with 15,000 miles, a 6-speed, Ram Air aftermarket fiberglass hood, putting some Edelbrock shorties on it soon with the Y-pipe. It's a great car. All white

I think so--is he the young oval race driver, and grandson son of a noted politician in Towanda?

he could be an oval racer, but thats not what I had in mind..
Lets put it this way, there are a lot of midgets in Towanda. The vanderpool family tried to create their own 'superior' race at the turn of the 19th century, and Towanda PA had the worlds highest population of inbred folks at that time. They had gone so far as to create laws in the town that prevented 'Poolies' from marrying outside of the Vanderpool name! Its quite a history lesson (that believe it or not, they told us about in school )
