Cure for the mid-life crisis
Hi everybody! Brand new to this site, just wanted to let everybody know that this is an awesome site! Iam 36 years young and found a way to ease my so-called mid life crisis by purchasing a 1998 ls1 T.A. This is my 3rd t.a. to date, first was a 1978 and the second was a 1982 t.a. Sadly enough, along with my mullet, got rid of them many years ago. The ls1 to me is one heck of a car, and gonna be a lot of fun to cruise around in ! Just aquired it a couple days ago but have yet to bring it home... cant wait! Will be on this site every nite for its helpful info and knoledge for my T.A. will post pics soon!
Thanks again
Ray

Welcome aboard old man. Its is all downhill from here, but as the kids leave home you have all that money from child support and alimony to spend. You havent had a midlife crisis YET.

well technicaly I still have a crisis here, works been busy and havent had time to pick her up yet. Iam hoping real soon tho! Cant wait to get her home and start admirering her. Got a few miles on it but really means nothing when your sitting behind the wheel!! Its really a good way of getting rid of some unwanted stress after a crappy day of work. Always had my heart set on a firehawk, but with limited funds now a days, this gets me back behind the wheel once again. Hoping for some mods on it next year, really like to put some factory chrome rims on her if I can find some! I'll keep ya all posted!

Welcome to the site and I'm not sure I'd call being 36 a mid life crisis age. I'm only 3 years behind you.

Welcome. It's definitely not a mid-life crisis. I'm 31 and just started to build my toy. It indeed does take stress off your mind. Nothing like cruising around town with the air breezing in your face in a ls1.
