Bad Vibration
What's up! Great site. Im in need of some good advice. Bought an 01 b4c about a month ago. Car runs strong, but from an idle if you bring rpms up at about 1200 you get a little vibration coming through the car. I have changed trans mount and passenger motor mount.Car still vibrates, even more at higher rpm's. I guess I will change driver side motor mount next. Just hate to spend money replacing parts, without really knowing what the problem is. Mechanics locally have different opinions, no one that has driven the car can properly diagones it. Getting very frustrated. Please anyone that can help I am willing to listen!!!!

Sure replacing parts without knowing they were the problems seems like nonsense. But think about this: you start knowing your car a little better.
When you feel this vibration, is the car moving?

can you describe it a little better? you say from an idle, I'm assuming you mean in park? Does it feel like the whole car is vibrating or does it feel like it's coming from the front of the car or the rear and does it make any noise or just vibrate? I'm wondering if your exhaust isn't maybe touching somewhere or something along those lines.
Try posting the problem up in the general help area with better details because you will get more and faster responses in there.

Bad Vibration
Noise is heard in park and in drive. When you stand in the throttle you definitely hear it more. The vibration can be felt in the seat, and also put hand on car and feel it. The exhaust is all stock, even muffler and tips!! At times the vibration is so bad the car acts like it drags the rearend a little and occasionally you hear a tire chirp, when you get in and out of the gas. Car has quite a few miles 148k got it cheap. Just something to play with and hurt some feelings, but looks like mine for now are the ones hurting.
I also have an 04 torrid red gto M6.
