My name is Willie and i've been reading the treads for about a year now and have joined the crowd. I own a 91 z28. I bought the car 4 years ago after I let my Ex drive my 98 Ram air TA, w/o the WS6 package and she played pinball between concreate barriers in a double lane construction zone. My camaro smoked when i got it pretty rowdy so i ended up buying a rebuilt long block for 500 with the core exchange. I drove the car for about 6 months and loved the tpi but was looking for a little bit more kick. I then found a purple formula as a perfect donor car. It took me a couple of months to get the wiring right because I didnt have the funds to get a modified harness. Luckily I kept the Vats to the Firebird along with the Ignition switch. I ran the car for about 6 months and man did that SoB romp. I ended up moving to Florida for a few years and the car stayed in san antonio under one of my dads mesquite trees coverd under a tarp. My bro found a guy at autozone one day talkin about a T-56 he had sittin around. The guy wanted 600 for the tranny, B&M shorthrow, 2 bellhousings(1 lt1 style and one ls1 style), centerforce clutch, and dustplate. It came outta a 97 vette and has the push type slave on it. last month i installed the pedal setup out of a 95 bird from ebay and a master that bolted in beautiful. But when I was ready to throw my m6 in my bro had left the clutch by the door of the barn and rusted the piss outta everything my flywheel, the pressure plate and the fastners in the disc. So thats where im left now in need of a clutch and flywheel setup.
