Black- 98 Camaro SS
1st time here, lost track of SLP forum-Question on enginework
Hello everyone, finally got off my can and found a new bunch to communicate with. I lost track of the SLP forum, maybe it locked me out or they shutdown,I don't really know. I've got a Black,A-4, 98 SS daily driver that I put 120 miles a day on commuting,(crazy Huh? but I like it,seen some wild Nascar style wrecks and it saved me bunches of times with it's superior handling and my skills didn't hurt none either)I've put over 105K on her since I've had her,I'm getting some rocker arm noise, was wondering should I get a head job done or just check the rocker arm assembly? I've only put new plugs in at 120K,no other work done except brakes, etc. Always run premium petrol so I think that has helped the long life.Anyone know of the life expectancy out of these engines if not flogged to death? Any comments welcome, thanks.

These engines last for a very long time, even if you do beat on them. what kind of noise are you having? you may want to post it in the internal engine section
