    z28 computer woes

The check engine light comes on in my 94 z28 camaro. When I try to read the codes by grounding A to B the check engine light won't come on or flash anything, Advice?

    Turn the ignition off
Connect A jumper wire from terminal A To B
Turn the ign on but dont start the car.
Still nothing? Terminal's a and b should be on the top right.

    I did that

I did attach a wire to A & B terminals and nothing happens when I turn on the ignition except I hear the fans running. The check engine does light when the terminals are not jumped. which means I can't get the codes. The light does not flash or come on.

94 and up need a scan tool, you can't jumper the dlc pins. http://shbox.com/1/dlc2.jpg
