    WS6 Tune?

I just bought a stock WS6 and want to tune the damn thing. I just got done tuning my v6 for the 100 shot and headers... etc, but for stock the WS6 tune looks really good.

Any specific areas I can make a quick/easy improvement with my HPTuners and no WB?

Bump the timing up 2 degrees at a time. Deduct anywhere you see knock, but keep bumping the timing up in the other areas until you feel that you have a nice even and higher timing curve.

    Engine>Spark>High and Low Octane.

Also, go to Engine>Fuel>PE and lower the numbers by about 10% since the stock tune is on the Rich side.

It's a 2000 A4. Any help/hints for the TQ management? I've done fuel/spark curves before but the tranny's news to me.

I'm out of town for work so I'm kinda bored in the evenings at the hotel...

email me your .hpt file to steve@CalibrateGM.com and I'll flip it back to you with what I do as far as basic tunes go. That way you can use the compare function and see what gets changed and tweak from there as well.

If you want it a little quicker than I can get available to email it, (it's saved on a diff. computer) just go to the repository at hptuners.com and put in 2000 WS6. It should pull up at least 2 diff. stock tunes that are identical to mine for you to download.

12.00 is the pe target afr, and i took off the abuse mode and zero'd out all of the traction control tables, added 2* of spark and.... it runs like a new car. probably picked up like 25 whp, no joke.

my only mod is a K&N and i'm going to continue to not tell anybody about this just to be a dick... ROFL when i take down some M6 fbod with lid, exhaust, thermo.. etc.
