Is it worth paying for a tune on a stock car with basic bolt ons?

I am planning on doing some bolt ons on a stock 99 a4 ta. Here are the mods im going to do. I am trying to decide on a tune or programmer I really want to change the setting for my cooling fans so my car will run a little cooler.

    air lid with K&N
    exhaust cut out
    mass air meter (Granatelli probly)
    160 thermostat
    aftermarket throttle body

Later I will be adding long tube headers and possibly a cam.

My car tuned gained 21 RWHP and a simliar number in torque (and that is just the peak power) currently I just have bolt ons including long tubes. For me I think it was worth it, not to mention the car runs better then it did with the stock tune (or possible a jet PCM since that is what was in the car when I bought it) because the air/fuel mix is better. Tomorrow I am taking her in for a cam install and since I already have paid for the base tune it is really cheap for me to get a retune with the new cam which is making the install price alot cheaper. The tune itself depends alot on who does it, but I think it is worth it, especially if you can find a place that does good work for a fair price and offers a significant discount for retunes.

With the mods you listed i would wait on the Maf, Throttle body, and the Thermostat, until you pick up your cam and headers. In a A4 car you can really open it up with a good dyno tune but i would just wait until you have completed the mods and then have it tunned instead of making several trips to the dyno.
