What should I do with the wires??

So I just got done ordering a 85mm OEM Z06 MAF w/o screen and 3 to 5 pin wiring harness and my question is what should I do with the wires going to the IAT?? I'm going to leave it in my lid so I don't have a leak but want my engine bay to look good and not have the wires laying around. What has everyone else did.

IB4T: Leave MAF alone because my old one went to shit, I have a mail order tune for a de-screened MAF and getting a dyno tune in 1 month so.......

I believe I have the same MAF: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113122 I used the adapter harness and kept the stock IAT in the lid connected.

Mine looks like stock....at least thats what the picture looked like. Part number was same as Z06 and CTS-V. Didn't know if you could keep both them hooked up at same time I'm getting a Fast Toys lid (which doesn't have the IAT hook up so at some point it needs to go. Mine doesn't have a screen in it either

My bad -- I didn't remember the screen being in mine, but there it is. I know the diameter is 85 mm and that it came with an integral IAT.

So you wanna use the IAT sensor inside the new MAF right? Don't you just plug the old IAT connector into the adapter harness?? Is that your question?

Didn't know if that is how you do it or not. If thats the case then you just answered my question It makes total sense tho now that you say that. I can be a sometimes Can't wait to put this baby on, from my research it leans the car out which mine is running pig rich right now so it should be dialed in a little bit better til my dyno tune
