    What does a tuner tune?

I put long tubes on my car a few months ago and took it to get it tuned. From what I could tell my tuner just tuned out the o2's and adjusted the AF ratio. I put a LS6 intake on it and ported the throttle body and need to go back. I know there's other stuff he can do to get more power what should I ask for? I only put down 305 to the wheels last time. It's an a4 but I expect a little more than that. Maybe I need to ask for SAE corrected horsepower.

that's standard fare to work timing. Are you sure he didn't toss in a "canned" (pre made) table and you just didn't notice? I know I work much much faster than you could keep up with if uninitiated and watching.

I talked to him today. He said he did bump up the timing. I'm gonna go back Tuesday since I just put a LS6 intake on it and ported the throttle body. I just thought 305 hp was pretty low even for an A4. He told me he has had
    A4's dyno at 265hp.

My car made 312 rwhp and 355 ft/lbs through a stalled a4 with long tubes.

I wouldn't worry so much about how it does on a dyno compared to what it does at the track.
