Using Predator tuner after a Tune By Frost, safe or no?

I have a Predator hand held that I used on my 01 TA a few years back. I then got a mail in tune by Frost after I did some Mods. I just installed a 12 bolt, and would like to change the gear ratio on the computer to reflect the correct speed, but am not willing to shuck out another $150 to get it re-tuned by Frost just to fix the speedometer.

Anyone know if it's safe the use the handheld to just adjust for a new gear ratio, or will it cancel out my Frost Tune?

The handheld will cost more then the Frost Tune. I would call Steve and see if he will cut you a break for doing just the gear ratio. JMO

I am not familiar with the Predator. I would be concerned though that it may overwrite more than just the gear ratio. Do the instructions provide any clarification?

It's only $75.00 plus shipping for a retune from Frost

I sent him $150.00 a few weeks ago and he refunded me the difference less shipping

^^ Forgot about that, but a re-tune does cost less now that you mention it. No question about it, Steve is the man.

Steve tuned my SS when I got my Procharger installed. The car has been running very strong for 2 seasons now. He knows his stuff.
