Try re-seating the ECM plug connectors and inspect the pins for corrosion...

Yea, I found out that the alternator cable was ripped, so i got a new one. But still nothing, So i cleaned all the negative wires. and put another new alternator. And it worked. But,the previous one i had was still good and brand new and didn't work?

It could have been a bad connection that was repaired with the new install, or the first alternator could have been bad. How did you test it?

Well, i went to auto zone and kragens and they checked it and they said they were fine? but, then i read a forum on ls1 tech about this kind of problem.

I've had 2 alternators check out "ok" from both advance and autozone, yet I installed new ones and never had a problem thereafter... weird
