you can change every aspect of the engine and transmission parameters.
here's pic from the hptuners website giving you an idea of what you would be looking at as far as tables that determine what does what.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

every aspect of the engine.... that almost sounds unrealistic--without extra parts that is. . .?

What he means is that you can change how the computer controls the different aspects of your engine and transmision. I would sugest that you look in here to get familiar with the types of things that you would tune in the computer and why. Also troll around some of the other sections on that board or even other posts here to familiarize your self with terms and tuning concepts. Now a word of advice HPTuners is not like a handheld tuner. If you don't know what you are doing you can and probably ruin your engine. With that said if you are willing to study and experiment this tool will give you absolute control over how your engine runs. BTW I'm no expert I've been looking at this stuff for a few months and still have a lot to learn.
Good Luck!2000 NBM Camaro Z28

Most LS1 fbodies have between 450-550 parameters & tables you can alter so when he says every aspect its really not that far off from the truth
