    TUNER: ls6 stg2.5 / tv2

ITS alive, barely got it home from a small drive from Jasons house who helped me put the heads and cam in(ls6 stg2.5/Torquerv2), great guy and reccommend him to anyone. it wont keep idle even when warmed up. i need a tune bad and plan on getting it tuned asap.

im going to try to get ahold of Roman a few more times and as long as he gives a decent deal, ill go to him cause its going to be only about 200$ from Newtech cause i`ve previously went there. The only hard part of getting it to newtech is driving LOL.
Any tricks besides pushing the gas down on getting it not to die when i come to a stop.

open the throttle body up (blade screw).

Start with 3/4 turn. Reset the TPS: turn key off, unplug TPS (round 3 pin connector), turn key to run (not start) and wait about 10 seconds, turn key off, plug TPS connector back in. It will reset at next key-on. Don't open the blade too far or it won't reset (the TPS) and it must always read 0% at 0%.

^ ill try that, earlier i screwed it to open a little more and it idles, but when i push on gas a little it ends up wanting to die bad, usually does 70% of the time.

but ill try that after work thanks frost

yes i want to but my tuner is 150 miles away...new tech cause everyone 60 miles away that dont even have a dyno can charge 500, then plus 150 to rent a dyno....that makes me giggle.
so im trying to figure out what to do
turn it up cause you cant really hear it but its loud in person. it had a huge exhaust leak cause i had to do some modifications to do the swap.
i got that fixed today and sounds smoother but still, dies. i am wanting to get it tuned at newtech but thats 150 miles away and would hate to mess something up

that's a helluva drive on that car untuned. I would ask around and either rent or borrow a trailer and tow it up there.

yep trailer/tow it there. Or send your PCM to Frost for a starter tune to make it driveable.

well i have a 100 mile towing so i either have to ride about 100 miles then tow it from a families house the next day or hopefully i can use my brother inlaws` friends to get it down there then use the 100 mile tow from AAA
