    Throwing a p0343

I went to get tuned last nite only to have proplems. It cranks then dies when the 100mm maf is connected. I unug the maf and it runs fine. But still has the code. I have the ls1 computer with a ls2 engine so I swapped the outside wires today. I also pulled the sensor out and there are no signs of contact between the sensor and the gear. Can anybody help

Look at dynamic airflow and see what the g/sec consumption is. Try and run with the MAF and see what frequency range is reported. Go back to that frequency range on the MAF table and make sure that the value is close so that you know you have enough fuel to support combustion. If it won't run, setup the tune in SD but leave the MAF connected so that you can see it's reported frequency.

I think I said this on another board as well but... that code can mean that your cam bolts have backed out and the cam has walked a bit. I have seen this several times over the years. If that IS the case you will want to know ASAP before you end up with something hurt.
