    2000 Grand Prix GTP
    2000 Trans Am WS6 M6

    Stock LS1 PCM and HP

    I think I read somewhere that the stock PCM is only good to 500hp or something like that. Lets say I wanted to put a 427 LS7 motor and TT Kit in my car, what would I need to do computer wise (besides get it dyno tuned)? Would I need a PCM out of a C6Z06? or would my LS1 PCM be fine (just need to get it tuned)?

    yes, and yes

    It's an engine management system that is made for the things that you would be looking for whereas the stock PCM was made for an OEM mill.
