    Spark Plugs On Passenger Side

I am going to replace the plugs on my '01 SS for the first time. How do you get to the ones on the passenger side? Obviously from underneath or maybe the wheel well. The two rear ones look especially hard to get to. Any suggestions? Thanks.

unbolt the air injection pipe from the exhaust manifold (careful with the gasket, you can reuse it) get a swival sparkplug socket, you can get 2,4&6 from the top fairly easy. #8 is really easy from the bottom!

(this is assuming you have stock manifolds, headers are another story!)

I've found with headers they are actually MUCH easier then with the stock manifolds to be honest...especially the #8 plug/wire.

    Thanks Chaos and foff667,

Actually, I already sprayed WD40 on those 2 bolts because I can see with the air injection pipe off, it will make alot of room. Thanks for the tips !

Use a 3 in extension on as many plugs as you can...should be all but the 8 plug. You can easily snap a plug off with the swivel/elbow extension
