How do I get the shift light mod to come on my2004GTO ?

in hptuners there is a (shift light master) and (shift light)
for autos they are set to "diabled" and it says not to enable the master for autos.....why? I don't know and hope some can say why or why not

can't enable the light on an auto because the pinout from the computer is used to control one of the shift solinoids insyead of the light......i did some searching on hptuners sight
