    rough idle and surges erraticaly intermitten

    01 Z/28 surges only when sitting at stop light or sign. Doesn't do it all the time. Surges like a buck wild horse tied down, and goes away at times. Any ideas? STage 2 heads, cam, TB, headers, Rear O2 delete, tuned.

    I'd say with a 99% confidence level that the issue is in your tune.

    Question! Between the spacer and the throttle bad is a paper gasket. The gasket covers the hole where the iac seems to get air when idling (correct). Do i cut that out to allow more air to flow. Or does BBK do that for a reason?

    I have seen this several times... that gasket doesn't necessarily cover the IAC; it's on backwards It will definitely cause some grief.

    so it shouldn't be cover then right? Do i flip the gasket, and or try to figure out which way i can put it on without covering that hole. Heard a lot of stuff about these BBK throttle bodies not being worth the while. Should i just chuck it, and go with a ported stock?

    I do strongly dislike that TB for many reasons, but flipping the gasket and figuring out which way it doesn't block the IAC are going to be the same thing in this case.

    should i just go with a ported and polished stocker? avoid some of the confusion, sell this poj and get it retuned? How much hp does this really give you if any. Heard they rob you in some cases.
