rock on trans 3k stall need tune????

new trans worked good with stock stall for a week got new stall in today now hits limiter from 2 to 3 shift and acts like converter is kickinig in and out at about 2100 cruising. also slips if moderate throttle @ 70mph. will a tune fix it and is it normal???

Sounds like you need a tune, since it only started doing it when you changed the stall. If it was fine and then started acting up, I'd say the trans was going out.

Get it tuned, I'm sure they can work out the bugs pretty easily.

thanks thats what the trans shop said but they don't do tuning.....anyone know a reasonable shop in ft.worth???? the place i bought my stuff still hasn't got the wideband.so i haven't put anything on yet except the trans and stall. what should it cost to make changes for the stall?

I agree that you should get a tune. I wish that I could suggest someone but my only advise would be to steer clear of MTI.
