    you need to adjust shift points after installing aftermarket convertors.

    problem with that is the stock rev limiter is at 6200...stock shift point is like 6100 if i remember correctly so if you add a little power that makes the car rev slightly faster the computer sometimes wont have enough time to react...combine that with a tranny thats 8 years old and your gonna hit the limiter.

    my tranny is like 5 months old, and the engine is like 3 weeks old, so it has to be a tunning problem as far as i can see.

    yes stock tunning as of now because we were letting it go for the break in period without the proper tune, and the cam is in the sig.

    I can't tell you what you should do, but here's what I did for my A4 in HPT:

    --- FUEL ---
    Cutoff: 6600
    Resume: 6599

    -- TRANS --
    1->2 Shift: 6200
    2->3 Shift: 6200
    3->4 Shift: 6200

    thanks for your help,my mods:slp long tubes/slp h/c package but changed the cam to a custom grind 598/598 238/242,ported t/b,t/b bypass,3.50's,9in,
    lower arms,panhard bar,3400 tci and a totally rebuilt tranny.
    when i started having this problem they told me it was the converter which we replaced still had the problem then they said it was the trans sent it to shop for recheck no problem found and here i am still banging the limiter.

    are you still running a 4l60e? If so your not supposed to manually shift it...if you can post your bin file so we can see your shift points...its pretty easy to tell if its the tuning or not, in most cases.
