How high to set rev limiter with stock bottom end? (m6)

It's the top end you need to worry about... The stock valve springs will float out. Upgrade them, you'd be good to 7k !!!
I sprayed my stock bottom end for 4 years, shifting at 6900 - 7000 rpm !

yeah, the top end is what you should be more concerned about. On a stock valvetrain I'd keep the stock limiter.

thanx for the info,the top end is not stock already(h/c/i) was just wondering how much RPM i could get away with,with some reliabilty and most hp possible.
