    Rear End Gears and Tuning

I'm currently doing a H/C/I Swap on my car and I plan on getting it tuned in the spring. I currently have 3.42 Gears. I want 4.10s, but don't want to waste the money for new gears in my crappy 10bolt. Should I wait till summer to get it tuned? That's when I'll have the money for a 9".

Basically what I'm asking is this...does the gearing in the rear end make a difference in the tune? Also, does it make a difference in the dyno numbers?

I want to maximize the hp/tq numbers from this swap, so if I have to wait till summer for my rear end to get it tuned, then I will

you will need a tune to drive the car after the head/cam swap, do I'd get it tuned asap. when you get the new gears, all it takes is a few quick adjustments to reset the gearing in the computer so should be very cheap to do later.
if you go to the same tuner they might even make the adjustment for free

Tell who ever is tuning the car for you and im sure they would have no problem just changing the gear set up in the computer once you get gears. Who do you plan to have tune it?
