Question about VHP hand held
I understand that the VHP and Diablo sport are the better of the handhelds. I know the Diablo will delete rear o2's but I am more interested in the VHP as it has the ability to store multilple canned tunes but I am wondering if it can delete EGR? I have looked at their website and a write up from MRR23 but still not sure on the EGR aspect. It did say you can look up codes and clear them but I am curious as to whether it can delete the EGR code altogether or would I have to clear it everytime I start the car? Any help is greatly appreciated.

if you plug in a preset tune, the EGR codes (P0401, P0404, P0405) are turned off with no error reported..
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

Preset tune? is it an option on the tuner or are you saying i would have to ask them to put a tune in it for me specific to what I want it to do?

no, i'm talking about all 8 of those tunes that are supplied with the tuner. hiperf/stock cam, cam #1, cam #2, etc.. you pick one of those and it turns those codes off.
