    Question About Removing PCM

I'm going to be sending my PCM to LSX tuning for a tune and have a couple of quick questions regarding proper removal.

I would guess that the battery should be disconnected before removing. My questions are would this possibly activate the theft deterrent on my radio or require reprogramming my keyless entry remotes?

    Thanks for any info!

Good practice to disconnect the battery/ignition off when removing the PCM. If you have a code set radio theftlock will activate but easy to get the code even if you don't have it, there's a sticky in the stereo section. Key fobs will be fine.

There is a little info here on the physical process of pulling the PCM out of the car; dunno if you need it or not, bet here it is: http://www.lsxtune.com/001.htm
