    Unhappy Programmer v parts

    I need some advice please..

Ive installed some basic mods on my 98 ss, MAF, K&N, bbk throttle body, it now breathes so much better. I also picked up a Hypertech programmer which I have now downloaded. Unfortunately I now show two error messages which indicate lean fuel to left and right rails. I've checked out Hypertechs site and they say not to replace the MAF (not mentioned in instructions or on the box)??, does this mean I need to put back the stock MAF?, but if thats the case is the bbk throttle body pointless? Not sure what to do.
By the way, I live in London, uk, so I cant go to the local speed shop to ask, as we dont have any.

    Thanks

(Bought the parts on holiday in FL)

what kind of mass air did you buy I don't think that the mass air would give you a lean condition but the bbk t/b might because it's more of air metering device and thats most likely where your lean condition is coming from. what is the octane fuel you using. there is also other handheld programers out there that let you adjust the fuel by up to 10-15% witch you might need to use all those parts together.

I'd try putting the stock MAF back on if you want to run their tune.

Its a Granatelli MAF 350112, im using shell optimax 98 octane, which I think is slightly stronger than the US grade. the hypertech tune requires the higher octane fuel which was entered during the programming.

was it for a stock air intake system or for a cold air system. if your intake system you have now is drawing more air then the mass air is set for it might cause a lean condition.
