Programmer for '98 t/a?
I've been looking at programmers and wanted some other opinions. I have an a4, airbox lid, k&n, fra, and hooker exhaust. I've heard good things about the diablos and predators, but why are they only for '99 and up cars? I know hypertech doesn't do as much as the others, but is it the best bang for the buck since I can't use the diablo or predator?

If your just looking for a handheld I believe Vinci-Crane unit works on '98's.

The 97 and 98 ls1 cars came with a modified lt1 controller. The 99 up had the new obd2 pcm for ls1 only. That is why the 99-02 have different programmers. Hope this helps.
