when i did some track testing for vinci, i gained .20 et and 1.4 mph. these were back to back runs. used hi perf/stock cam +10% power enrichment.

i've used it to tune the wife's car back when it had heads and cam. picked up 17 rwhp from tuning the heads and 20 rwhp from tuning the cam.

damn! does any other handheld yield that good of an increase? so could the above setup see about 15 rwhp or is that over shooting it?

I have a predator Diablo. Love it, and customer service has been outstanding. They have a great website and forum. Also, you can download custom programs from them via the internet. Let them know what mods you have, and they will write a custom program for you and send it to you via the internet, You can then download it into your programmer (with their adapter kit) then you can go install it in your car.
They are very easy to use, large screen, get rid of your cogs without an elimiator plug, you can adjust rear end ratios, tire sizes, when your fans come on and off, and give you real time data.
I like it much better than my superchips I have for my Truck.

    well, the theory goes .1 = 10hp

here's the timeslip from my car

here's a dyno sheet from when i was using the tuner to work on the wife's car. the a/f isn't correct. wideband took a crap.

they both have their advantages. the predator gives more adjustability for transmission stuff and can have tunes sent to you over the internet.

the vinci has 7 preset tunes to start off with. and you can modify those and your stock tune. it even has tunes for superchargers.

    I recently purchased a Crane/Vinci tuner
from a member on this forum.

I was wondering, approximently how much
timing advance and air fuel ratio changes when using the perf/stock cam settings and also +10% power enrichment settings.

Has anyone ever monitored these changes
with a wideband or datalogger ?
