White- 1978 Toyota FJ-40
Orange light
I have just swapped out the tired old 6 cylinder in my 78 FJ-40 for a new LS1.
A Painless wiring harness was used, along with new gauges etc. An orange warning light (installed with the new harness) sometimes comes on for a few seconds after a bit of throttle is applied and released. The light dosen't stay on for more than a few seconds, and the shop that did the swap claims that they called Painless and were told that "As long as the light dosen't stay on, it's ok". After the $ that went into this project, I don't agree that there is nothing wrong when a trouble light comes on!
Any ideas would be great, thanks
