    my tune

i just read in another thread some say not to get a tune until you get headers installed this made me think?

I have my PCM tuned by frost already and i do not have the exhaust on the car what my question is? will the tune reset itself back to stock if i drive it without the headers or will it still keep the tune?

Your tune will not reset. You should wait to get the tune until after installing the exhaust because the car will perform differently with the exhaust and Frost would tune it to take advantage of that. Right now it is tuned for what you have. If you put an exhaust on it, in order to take full advantage of it, you would have to get it tuned again.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

PM Frost and have him review your file. He'll be able to tell you if he did a manifold optimizing tune or a header optimizing tune.

I did the same thing about. I got him to give me a tune for LT's but my LT's were not yet installed. My car ran like crap 1st and 2nd gear, felt like my rev limiter was lowered but i dont know what caused it exactly. When i told him to tune it back to what he had before just exhuast and intake with no LT's the car runs good now.

ok from what you said i got this out of it= you had him tune the car for lts but hadent installed them yet and the car ran like shit for 1st and 2nd gears also you sent it back and had him tune it back for stock exhaust and from your mod list i can see you havent installed the lts yet is this right

also my ses came on today when i got on the pedal pretty hard went to auto zone and had the codes ran which came up as heated O2 sensors im guessing the tune i recieved was the reason this happened so i guess i do have a tune for lt?

Depends on which O2 sensors and which codes. It could just be a bad sensor or wire.

yep which means that the front 02 got to hot or something and reported a fault probably due to the PCM being tuned for LTs the reason i am thinking this is because this has never happened before i got the tune
