    MAF Question

I already know all the "Leave the MAF alone bullshit" We'll as I told Frost late last year, my MAF is bad. I borrowed one to make it the last month before winter and now I need a new one. I am getting a Dyno tune from LS1speed this spring so I was thinking that a LS6/Z06 MAF would be addition since I can get a warrentied new one for $150. Any experiece with this? I know I need a pin connector to get it to fit but any other issues?

If you order a replacement MAF through GM Parts Direct, they send you the 85 mm unit with an adapter harness: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113122 Freaked me out when I received it and I e-mailed them again to confirm that it was the correct part. Someone here tell me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that this is identical to the Corvette/LS6 MAF.

Thanks for the info! I googled and found that you are 100% right. Same MAF! I will be ordering once I get closer to spring

We have put at least 1,500 miles on the car since the swap and have had no problems. Before installing the new MAF, I had an off idle stumble that I attributed to the hack job on the original.
