    LS1 Wiring

I am doing a LS1 conversion on my '70 Gremlin, anyone out there know how to go about getting or converting the original wiring harness? SUMMIT's got them for $1500, but I want to try using an original harness and get the computer re-flashed. I just got back from the junk yard and almost had everything taken off but the wiring go into the fuse panel was confusing.

Its a 5.3L out of a 2001 truck, cast iron block for boost! Got it with no wiring harness and I am pretty old-school so, this is all somewhat new to me....

What are you guys doing for the engine control system?

ls1wiring.com and there are a bunch of them in cali for the dune buggies that work good. if you look in those dunebuggy mags you can find all sorts of wiring kits cheap for the ls2. if your looking for them for car swaps they tend to cost more and you end up with a kit you have to put the connectors on.
