actron makes some pretty cheap code readers. I have an actron cp9180 that's a pretty cool little scanner. I paid $177 for mine but saw them a couple months ago for $150 at advanced auto. There's a thread on them in the tools section. I'm going to be selling my autotap if you'd be interested in it. I haven't listed it again by itself but had a thread with it and ls1edit together that I closed due to some pricing problems with edit.

If that's all you need it to do (read, display and clear codes), I have one I literally used ONE time...I now have HPtuners program, so I don't need scanner anymore....

    This is what I have:

I'll sell it for $50 shipped anywhere in the USA.

they have them all over Ebay for very cheap...especially if all you want it to do is read, display, and clear codes. Less than $50 bucks for a basic one. You should check it out!

Hey here ya go...on Ebay, this OBDII scanner is less than $25.00 BRAND NEW (and this is including shipping & handling!). It is a "BUY IT NOW" so you could purchase it asap and don't have to worry about being outbid. The item number is 370028583885 and the seller is alpha-bid. Man, I should get a cut from these sellers for possibly bringing them more business haha. Anyways, I hope this helps you out!
