Key FOB programing? 2006 Grand Prix
Not an LSx car, but I thought I may get some additional information here besides what Google gave me.
Can I program a NEW key Fob for my 2006 Grand Prix (V6) without a dealership scanner? I have HP Tuners, and flipped through it quickly and did not see a section for this topic.
Google tells me that only a dealership can program these FOB's for this year/make cars. Is this true?
Company took my rental car away, now I have my car with me and would love my remote start
Thanks

As far as I know you need a Tech 2 to program the remotes. My dealership charges about $30 to program them.
