Hypertech programmer

I have a 99 trans am, and a Hypertech programmer ( part number 30025 ). My question is. If I pull the Tune out of my TA back into the programmer, can it be used on someone elses car?

Yes, just return it to stock first. I used one a few years ago, returned it to stock and sold it w/o any problems.

Do you know if the Diablo predator works the same way?

Believe the newer versions do, but the older ones were VIN locked. Even the VIN locked units can read/clear codes along with showing real time data on other cars.
