    Hypertech PowerProgrammer III question...

I have an '03 Duramax and I just bought a Hypertech PowerProgrammer III. My question is........does anyone here have one? How do they like it? Pros? Cons? It has three stages and sounds like it will be very easy to work with...................let me know what you think!

HPTuners rules! I have an old HTIII for my old vortec. It was pretty good for it's day.

That's also what I've heard. I lost power when using one and ran a bit too lean for my taste.

I've been looking for a cheap HPPIII just to recalibrate my speedo after the gear change and set the cooling fans to come on earlier. However, I have also heard that its not a good tuning device overall.

The ones for the trucks are excellent, especially the Diesels. Shouldn't give you a problem, I think the LS1 is just to touchy to program with a pre-set handheld tuner.
