On a 2000 auto, we lost 1hp and 3ftlbs with the hypertech installed. We drove the car for a couple of weeks with the hypertech tuning installed, made three dynos then took the tuning out. I'll see if I can find the dyno sheets and post them.

The Power Programmer killed my car when the battery died in a middle of a flash. It takes almost a half an hour to complete the flash with one of these.

Half an hour ? Thats nuts your bat dieing must have messed it up cuz it only takes like 5 min on mine, but overall Hypertek CP3=Waste O money.....You will see no gains or feel no gains. Just spend the money and get HPtuners even spending $100 bucks on one is not worth it. You would see more gains by taking the 100 dollar bill and placing in front of the intake diverting more air into it....Wish I would have known better two years ago.

Are some of these locked for certain vin #'s? I saw a bunch of ads saying they were unlocked, implying that they will only work on onw car to prevent people from sharing? I can get one as well for about $100 with a SLP intake cover, but it sounds like its worth it for the cover....
