    I'm with you there. Tuning these cars on your own with a WB on the street is the only true way to dial-in the car in for drivability IMHO. WOT dyno tunes are for the birds!!

    i think the hondas are probably harder to tune, since they tend to have larger range of engine speeds and MAP pressure values to fit into a table. with small engines you find there are surprisingly many owners pushing over 20psi, some hitting 30psi of boost, and doing it at 8k+ rpm on their personal cars. i agree, pointless if its wrong-wheel-drive, but i respect guys that hardcore. plus it probably takes a lot longer, for those who have the variable cam lobes and the cam phasing. but even as a hondaphile i preferred to stay away from those . . .

    glad i made the switch, but quality has never been the same. probably why my DD is still a honda. it's also much harder to drive a fast car hard, a challenge i've been more than happy to rise to . though i still need a lot more track time in her. i know i'm not extracting 100%. but i've got some work to do before i can get her back on the track. a few little things i've been neglecting a while . . .
