you have to run the front O2's because they control fueling. Yes, you can disable the rear O2's with hptuner and it's actually the best way to do it. Sims tend to fail over time.

You'll either need the extension harness for the front 02's or you can buy new 02's for a vette application, they have longer leads with more than enough for long tube headers on a 4th gen.

no...the front harness has to go to the front O2's. The O2's themselves are interchangable but the harness has to stay in the same position. You can either buy extensions or vette rear sensors that have longer pigtails on them. Ebay is probably the cheapest place I know of to get the sensors. If you have many miles on your current sensors that's what I would do. Go to ebay and search for bosch 13111 O2 sensors....those are the ones you need and will not need an extension.
Do not cut your harness and try to manually extend the wires....seen way to many times where that creates tons of headaches/issues for people.

front harness will be short no matter what you do. You can do whatever you want with the rear harness. I just zip tied mine up out of the way. You'll have to get the codes disabled with tuning software.

any other mods to the car? I personally wouldn't run it like that but the car will probably run. How far do you have to go? I would just throw some bosch 13111's in there and call it good.

Yes they have more than enough. I just put a set on mine recently. Actually you'll find extra that you'll have to tie up.

Like Orion said, if it's been a while since the 02's have been changed, it's probably due anyway. They are wear items that require replacement every so often.

Yeah that's right I think my diagnostics said that I needed new ones. But I thought I could just shut my front ones off but I guess I cant.

The Bosch 13111 harness is so long you have to get creative with the routing. You may have to loop it up and zip tie it up to the engine so it doesn't contact the hot exhaust.

If you want to buy something locally, go the any parts store and ask to 2 rear oxygen sensors for a 2002 Corvette.

Bosch 13111's here and they have worked great on our car. Like Cutlass said, you need to be creative with their routing. I was able to run the driver side harness across the front of the transmission pan and up the side of the engine before crossing back over to the connector, just like he did. The length was perfect for this and made for a nice protected wire run.

There are only 2 choices here. Use the existing sensors and buy extension harnesses or buy the Corvette Rear sensors. Generally people prefer the Corvette rear sensors but some have success with the extension harnesses.
