help! dropping an LQ9 in an old school

    Hello sirs!
I have a strange request. I need tuning info or tips. I have a 78 Pacer Wagon, I want to introduce a LQ9 into the engine bay.I want to put a carb on it,I know that GM Perf Parts sells that intake. Here's the question, When I do that, what in the world do I do to fire the vehicle, like how do I ignite the whole thing? It won't have an old school distributor so I am lost. Do I have to have an ECM custom flashed to handle the firing? It will still have the coil over valve covers.set up. Will it still utilize crank and/or cam triggers? I bought this engine from a used parts guy for a song and I like the ideal. I'd like to put a 350turbo behind it,is that possible? or would you guys recommend staying with the tranny that came attached to it? I got the engine, tranny, ecm, wiring harness and dbw. So, can you help or send me to the right direction? Thanks a million for any help! Mark I saw this Pacer Wagon on Pinks All out and fell in love with this ideal! duvallhouston@comcast.net.
