Finally Starting to Tune

So I just got in the mail an innovate LC1 and the XD16 guauge, got an 02 sensor, and JET dynamic specter.
This weekend a friend of mine who knows how to tune is going to help and teach me what to do.
I have a few questions, first should I raise my rev limiter? I have a 96 LT1 Z28 with all the bolt ons. I will also be adding some spray soon if they makes any difference. 2nd is there any tips of anything I should do, I plan on deleting EGR, AIR, rear 02s, (I have no cats) and skip shift. Can any one give some advice or impute?

You will find overall with tuning questions, specific questions get answers. What-do-I-do posts often get passed by because most folks don't want to write for 3 hours

Is there something specific that you need help with?

Basicly what codes do I need to delete.
I know you do only LS1s but by any chance do you know what they would be for an OBD2 LT1?
I want to get rid of skip shift, cats (so I guess that is the same as the rear 02s? even tho I am adding one for a wideband) AIR, EGR, and if there is any other codes I should delete?

I don't know what you are after but that is generally done to suppress the CE light after mods, so whatever is active on your car as far as codes that are a result of your mods.
