    Dtc 430

    Hi all

I have read today my obdII. DTC is P0430 : Basically this means that the oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter on bank 2 is detecting that the converter is not working as efficiently as it should be.
Where is the cylinderbank 2, on passengerside? And is this oxgen sensor for or after the cat?

    Thanks from switzerland!

Yes, bank 2 is the passenger side, and it's a post-cat 02 code - most likely the 02 is fine and the cat is bad. Here in the US we got letters from GM back in December '06 extending the cats warranty to 10 years/120K miles. Don't know if it applies over there but I'd check with a GM dealership. A search for P0420 or P0430 will turn up lots of posts, and maybe the document itself.
